Kessel Run is an initiative geared towards revolutionizing the way the Air Force builds and delivers software capabilities. This is accomplished by taking industry-proven software development practices and pairing them with extremely talented Airmen to plow through the decades of government bureaucracy with a mission to provide the warfighter with cutting edge capabilities at a rapid pace.
This effort is a joint initiative led by Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) in partnership with the Defense Innovation Unit Experimental (DIUx) in order to truly modernize the Air Force’s Air & Space Operations Center (AOC) and Targeting community.
Our team is based out of Boston, Massachusetts, where we have teams of software developers, designers, product managers, platform operators and support staff working in a collaborative environment to build products that Airmen love. These teams utilize User Centered Design (UCD), Lean Startup and eXtreme Programming (XP) processes and principles to accomplish this task.
